Women’s Council presents Leading a Meaningful Life

Former Ms. Magazine editor and acclaimed author of Inventing the Rest of Our Lives, Suzanne Braun Levine gives us a fun, smart, and tremendously informative road map through the challenging and uncharted territory that lies ahead in creating happy, meaningful lives.

About Suzanne Braun Levine
Suzanne Braun Levine was the first editor of Ms. Magazine and the first woman editor of the Columbia Journalism Review, and is the author of numerous books. Her ongoing conversation with women began with her pioneering popular books Inventing the Rest of Our Lives, 50 Is the New Fifty and You Gotta Have Girlfriends.
While at Ms., she conceived and produced the Peabody Award-winning HBO Special She’s Nobody’s Baby: American Women in the 20th Century and edited a book based on the documentary. She was honored as a “Ms. Woman of the Year” in 2004. She is featured in MAKERS: Women Who Make America, an ongoing AOL and PBS video initiative showcasing trailblazing women. The Jewish Senior Life Foundation Women’s Council serves as a group of ambassadors for Jewish Senior Life throughout our community. The Women’s Council focus is to raise awareness of Jewish Senior Life, develop connections with other organizations to support Jewish Senior Life activities, engage and mentor women to help support the life-enhancing work of Jewish Senior Life, and expand resources for Jewish Senior Life programs and services.
